We are Nils and An-Astrid, and we had a dream. A few years ago, we embarked on an adventure through Southern Europe in search of our dream home. We explored the stunning landscapes of Spain and Portugal, but an illness disrupted our plans. Three years later, we moved to French Basque Country.

We dreamed of a home just a stone’s throw from Biarritz and within walking distance of the Pyrenees. With the ocean and mountains within reach, that’s what we were looking for.

Since February 2025, we have settled in Itxassou, a breathtaking village on the edge of endless nature—just 25 minutes from the beaches and a two-hour drive from the ski slopes. Combined with the richness of the Basque region, it is our dream location.
